Dr. Tracy Ratermann is a Clinical Psychologist who has been working in the field of psychology for over twenty years. She received her Bachelor's degree from Towson State University in  Maryland.  She went on to obtain her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in children and families, from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego.

During her graduate studies, Dr. Ratermann was selected for a nationally-accredited, predoctoral internship at the H.E.L.P. Group in the Los Angeles area, an internationally-recognized program serving children, teens, and families. She also served as the Assistant Program Director of the C.I.T.Y. Program (Community Intensive Treatment for Youth), which was chosen as the San Diego County Mental Health Program of the Year in 2002. She later worked as a Clinical and Consulting Psychologist for the Families Forward Wraparound Program when it received the same award.  

Dr. Ratermann has extensive experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families throughout San Diego. She has provided her services in a multitude of settings, including hospitals, group homes, residential treatment facilities, foster homes, public and private schools, special education classes, day treatment programs, outpatient clinics, and private practice.  These services have included individual, group and family therapies, as well as clinical supervision, parent and community training, staff consultation, assessments, and research related to exercise and mood in children.
